DHAKA, Sept 09, 2025 (BSS) – Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Mahfuj Alam today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Tariqul Islam, a reporter of private satellite television Channel S.

In a message of condolence, he prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Tariqul passed away this afternoon while covering the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) election at Curzon Hall on the Dhaka University campus.
