LAHORE, Sept 9, 2025 (BSS) - Religious Affairs Adviser Dr. A F M Khalid Hossain has said that the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) can serve as a powerful source of guidance and inspiration for today's youth, especially as they navigate the challenges of social media, rapid technological change, and shifting cultural values.

Speaking at a seminar held this afternoon at Lahore Sharif Medical College, Dr. Khalid Hossain highlighted that the ideals of the Prophet offer a transformative path -- one that can empower and enlighten young people in today's complex world.

He stressed that the Prophet's message remains timeless, continuing to inspire Muslim youth across generations. By embracing values such as honesty, morality, responsibility, and the pursuit of knowledge -- hallmarks of the Prophet's life -- young people can not only lead more meaningful personal lives but also contribute positively to society and national development.

The seminar was presided over by the Principal of Lahore Sharif Medical College, Dr. Rowshin Reza. Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan, Md. Iqbal Hossain Khan, also addressed the audience.

Other attendees included the Adviser's Private Secretary Sadeq Ahmed, Press Counsellor Mohammad Taiyab Ali, as well as faculty members and senior college officials.

Later in the day, Dr. Khalid Hossain visited Jamia Ashrafia, one of the subcontinent's most prominent institutions for religious education, where he also spoke to the students, encouraging them to uphold the Prophet's teachings in their lives.
