DHAKA, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS) - The final results of the 48th (Special) BCS have been officially published today with a total of 2,820 candidates nominated for the position of Assistant Surgeon and 300 candidates for the post of Assistant Dental Surgeon.
 
A press release issued by the Public Service Commission (PSC) confirmed the matter Thursday.
 
The written examination (MCQ type) for this special BCS was held on July 18, 2025 and the results were published on July 20, 2025.
 
A total of 5,206 candidates passed the written examination, with 4,695 candidates qualifying for the BCS (Health) Assistant Surgeon position and 511 candidates selected for the BCS (Health) Assistant Dental Surgeon position.
