Fouzul Kabir for arranging a non-partisan, unbiased election environment

SAVAR, Sept 13, 2025 (BSS) - Adviser for Ministry of Power, Energy and 
Mineral Resources of the interim government Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan today 
said the interim government must ensure a non-partisan and unbiased 
environment where people can vote fearlessly.

"This is a non-partisan government and we do not belong to any political 
party. We must arrange and such an election where people can vote their 
representatives without any fear and hesitation," the adviser said.

He was addressing a views exchange program as the chief guest on the topic 
National Rooftop Solar Program at the Dhamrai upazila here today.

He said the interim government has taken actions against those government 
officials who were involved and helped in arranging the 2018's election. 

"If anyone try to illegal things and make any irregularities during the 
election, we will take immediate steps. Earlier, doing irregularities were 
encouraged, but we will not tolerate it this time," Fouzul Kabir said.

He asked the government officials to stay unbiased during the election. "For 
the government employees, it doesn't matter who wins or not. You have to work 
for the people," he added noting the DUCSU election as an example.      

Speaking on the gas supply, he said there is no intense shortage of gas or 
electricity but there is shortage of one thousand MMC gas and accordingly 
there are some problems with gas supply too.
