DHAKA, Sept 28, 2025 (BSS) - The Ministry of Education today issued the draft 
ordinance for the Dhaka Central University (DCU) and sought reviews from the 
stakeholders regarding the draft.

It was disclosed by the draft, signed by Secondary and Higher Education 
Directorate's Senior Secretary Naima Khondokar on September 24 (Wednesday) 
last.
 
The draft has been named as Dhaka Central University Ordinance 2025.

The ministry also sought reviews from the experts on the draft ordinance 
within the seven days, a press release from the ministry said. 

After being separated from the Dhaka University, affiliated seven colleges 
have decided to operate under a separate university combinedly known as DCU.
