CHUADANGA, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS) - A one-and-a-half-year-old boy drowned in a pond at Hijalgari village in sadar upazila here this morning.

The deceased was Aryan, son of Khatib Mia, a resident of the same village.

The boy fell into the pond and drowned around 9 am near their house while playing beside the water body.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Darshana Police Station Shahid Titumir confirmed the matter.
