NARAYANGANJ, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS) - A minor boy was killed in a road accident in Pachani area of Khagkanda union under Araihazar upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was Arif, 3, son of Awlad Hossain of the same area.

"The accident took place when a pickup van hit the boy while he was crossing the road near his house", said Saifuddin, Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Araihazar Police Station.

He died on the spot, OC informed.

The driver of the pickup van managed to flee the scene.
