Election will be inclusive, transparent to meet people’s expectations: Faruk-e-Azam

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS) – Liberation War Affairs Adviser Faruk-e-Azam said that the voting process of the upcoming election will be inclusive and transparent to meet the expectations of the people.

He stressed the importance of unity in celebrating Durga Puja, urging everyone to be cautious of rumors and to ensure a peaceful and respectful observance of the religious festival with their families.

The adviser made the remarks during visits to various Puja mandaps in Mirsarai upazila.

Faruk-e-Azam expressed confidence in the democratic process, stating that a government elected by the people will be formed through fair elections.

During the visit, community members were encouraged to participate in the electoral process and uphold the values of democracy.

Mirsarai Upazila Nirbahi Officer Somaiya Akhter and Upazila Assistant Commissioner Alauddin Quader, among others, were present.
