DHAKA, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Judicial Service Pay Commission today held its maiden meeting at the conference room of the Supreme Court (SC) in the capital.
 
Chairman of the pay commission, Appellate Division Judge of the SC Justice S. M. Emdadul Hoque chaired the meeting, said a press release.
 
The meeting discussed the working method of the pay commission salary, allowances and other benefits of the members of the supreme judicial services. 
 
Other members of the pay commission were present at the meeting.
 
Chief Justice Dr Syed Refaat Ahmed reconstituted Bangladesh Judicial Service Pay Commission on September 8 last to determine salaries, allowances and other facilities of lower court judges and to make necessary recommendations to the government.
 
Justice Fatema Najib of High Court Division of the SC and Deputy Secretary of law ministry Md Azizul Haque were made members of the commission.
