DHAKA, Sept 30, 2025 (BSS) – The Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB), an organization of private Hajj agency owners, today announced three Hajj packages under private management.

The new Hajj packages were announced at a press conference at a city hotel.

At the press conference, the leaders of the association said three Hajj packages have been arranged for Hajj pilgrims under private management.

The packages include a special Hajj package priced at Tk 7.50 lakh, a general Hajj package priced at Tk 5.50 lakh, and an affordable Hajj package priced at Tk 5.10 lakh.

The Hajj is expected to be held on May 26, 2026, depending on the lunar calendar. A total of 127,198 pilgrims will get the chance to perform Hajj next year.

If everything goes well, the first Hajj flight will commence on April 18, 2026.

According to official data, a total of 87,100 pilgrims performed the Holy Hajj last year.

Hajj is a two-state activity, so the Hajj activities are carried out under the management of the Royal Saudi Government and the sending countries.

The Saudi government has authority in policy-making issues. Announcements of the Hajj roadmap and determination of necessary expenses on the Saudi side are under the jurisdiction of the Saudi government.

Since the final cost of necessary expenses on the Saudi side for Hajj 2026 is yet to be confirmed, the packages were prepared by calculating possible costs in line with those of the previous year.

If the Royal Saudi Government increases or decreases the cost of any sector, then the package price will increase or decrease accordingly. Pilgrims will have to pay additionally if the package price increases, they said.

The leaders said if the package price decreases, the surplus money will be refunded to pilgrims.
