DHAKA, Nov 14, 2025 (BSS) – After withdrawing 20 deputy commissioners (DCs), the government has posted them to different ministries and divisions as deputy secretary.

The ministry of public administration issued two separate notifications in this regard last night.

According to the first notification, Mohammad Solaiman, DC of Chapainawabganj, has been transferred to planning division, Fatema Tul Jannat, DC of Munshiganj, to social welfare ministry, Mohammad Abdul Awal, DC of Naogaon, to agriculture ministry, ABM Iftekharul Islam Khandakar, DC of Khagrachari, to health service division, Razib Kumar Sarkar, DC of Lakshmipur, to ministry of cultural affairs, Saiful Islam, DC of Chattogram to shipping ministry, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mahmood Zaman, DC of Netrokona, to land ministry while Md Amirul Kaisar has been transferred to information and communication division. 

Apart from this, another notification said DC of Pabna Mohammad Mofizul Islam has been transferred to land ministry, DC of Rangpur Mohammad Rabiul Faysal to energy and mineral resources division, DC of Madaripur Afsana Bilkis to agriculture ministry, DC of Bagerhat Ahmed Kamrul Hasan to disaster management and relief ministry, DC of Jashore Md Azharul Islam to health service division, DC of Bhola Md Azad Jahan to water resources ministry, DC of Md Israil Hossain to health education and family welfare division, DC of Kurigram Sifat Mehnaz to secondary and higher education division, DC of Borguna Mohammad Shafiul Alam to local government division, DC of Sirajganj Muhammad Nazrul Islam to power division, DC of Barishal Mohammad Delwar Hossain to commerce ministry and DC of Rangamati Mohammad Habib Ullah to housing and public works ministry.

The order, issued for the public interest, will come into effect immediately.
