Govt. terminates three probationary ACs

DHAKA, Nov 19, 2025 (BSS) - The government has terminated three probationary Assistant Commissioners (ACs), who were exhausting their probation period after appointment in 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (administration) cadre, an official notification said.

The ministry of public administration issued a gazette notification in this regard here today.

According to the notification, the terminated BCS probationary ACs are Kazi Arifur Rahman of Deputy Commissioner’s office, Faridpur, Anup Kumar Biswas of Deputy Commissioner’s office, Bogura and Nabmita Sarkar of Deputy Commissioner’s office, Pirojpur.

The notification said their termination orders were issued with approval of appropriate authority under Rules 6(2)(A) of the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Recruitment Rules Act, 1981. 

It said that if any financial due remain pending during the tenure of their service period, it can be realized through the Public Demand Recovery Act, 1913.

The order issued for people’s interest will come into effect immediately.
