Opening performance of play 'Vasane Ujan' Friday

DHAKA, Nov 19, 2025 (BSS)- The inaugural performance of the new play 'Bhasane Ujan', the 25th production of Vivekananda Theater, will be staged on Friday.

Based on Dostoevsky's famous short story The Gentle Spirit, the play has been dramatized by Apurba Kumar Kudu and directed by Shuvashish Dutt Tanmoy. Md. Ershad Hasan will be soloist. 

The inaugural performance of Bhasane Ujan will be staged at the capital's Studio Theatre Hall at 7 pm. The opening performance will be inaugurated by Ferdousi Majumder, a pioneer actresses.
