BIPSOT renews MoU with Jahangirnagar University

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Dec 1, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operation Training (BIPSOT) today renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jahangirnagar University (JU) to strengthen cooperation in education, research and training.

The renewal signing ceremony was held at 12:30 pm in the council room of the university's administrative building, said a press release signed by JU's acting Director of Public Relations Office Mohammad Mahiuddin.

JU Treasurer Professor Dr M Abdur Rab signed the MoU on behalf of the university, while BIPSOT Deputy Commandant Brigadier General Mohammad Hafiz Mahmud signed on behalf of the institute.

JU Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr Sohel Ahmed, acting Registrar A B M Azizur Rahman, and from BIPSOT Senior Instructor-1 Colonel Kazi Nadir Hossain and Lieutenant Colonel Sheikh Md Murad Hossain were present.

Under the renewed agreement, both institutions will jointly organize conferences, seminars and workshops, exchange research data and enhance collaboration in training and academic activities. The first MoU between BIPSOT and JU was signed on April 9, 2015.
