JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Dec 6, 2025 (BSS) - The fourth edition of the four-
day Finance Fest-2025, organised by the Finance and Banking Club of
Jahangirnagar University (JU), is set to begin on December 9.

The announcement came at a press conference held at 4 pm on Saturday at the
university's Teacher-Student Centre (TSC). Hedayet Rahman, president of the
club and a student of the 49th batch of the Finance and Banking Department,
briefed about the schedule and programmes of the festival.

Hedayet Rahman said the festival will run from December 9 to 13, with no
activities scheduled for December 11. Each of the four active days will
feature different events designed to enhance students' skills and exposure.

He said the opening day, December 9, will feature a Job Fair and Panel
Discussion, followed by the Intra Business Competition 'Biztigation 2.0' on
December 10.

One of the most anticipated events, the FinFest 10.5K Run, will be held on
December 12, while the festival will conclude on December 13 with a closing
concert.

"Finance Fest is not just an event but a platform for JU students to develop
skills, build networks, and gain practical experience," he said, adding that
the initiative aims to help students learn about job markets, corporate
culture, entrepreneurship and contemporary economic challenges.

"This year, we have designed four distinct segments across four days to
ensure participants can engage based on their interests and improve
themselves meaningfully," he added.

He expressed hope that the festival would play a positive role in shaping
students' future and help elevate the Finance and Banking Club into a
platform capable of preparing students for both national and global
competition.

Club General Secretary Imam Hossain, Vice President Muntasir Mahmud Sami,
Management Secretary Faisal Karim and Management Secretary Snigdha Purabi
were also present at the press conference.
