World Meditation Day observed in city

DHAKA, Dec 21, 2025 (BSS) - The World Meditation Day was observed this 
morning at the Jatiya Press Club (JPC) here, emphasizing the importance of 
mental well-being. 

The programme was organised by Quantum Foundation.

The event began at 7:00 am and was attended by thousands from different walks 
of life. It started with a collective affirmation followed by a silent 
meditation session.

In audio messages, Quantum Foundation Director General Madam Nahar El Bukhari 
thanked the participants, while Gurujee Shahid El-Bukhari, Mahajataq, founder 
of the Quantum Method, reiterated that "When the mind is well, everything is 
well".

Speakers highlighted mental health challenges of modern digital life and 
noted that meditation offers a path to balance and well-being.

Former government secretary Dr Mohammad Abdul Majid and other distinguished 
guests shared their experiences.

World Meditation Day was also observed simultaneously at more than a hundred 
locations across the country, including Chattogram, Rajshahi, Barishal, 
Khulna and Sylhet.

The organisers expressed hope that more people would be inspired to practice 
meditation for a healthier and more peaceful life.
