DHAKA, Jan 7, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman held a meeting with leaders from BNP’s Gulshan Thana unit and its associated organizations, which are under the Dhaka-17 constituency.

The meeting took place at the BNP Chairperson's political office in Gulshan this afternoon.

Tarique Rahman will contest the upcoming 13th Parliamentary Election from this constituency.

During the meeting they discussed preparations and various strategies of the party for the upcoming national parliamentary election.

Among those present at the meeting were the chief coordinator for the Dhaka-17 constituency election Abdus Salam; BNP Chairperson's Advisor Dr. Farhad Halim Doner; Juba Dal President Abdul Moneam Munna; Dhaka Mohanagar  North BNP Joint Convener Mostafizur Rahman Segun; Mohanagar North Juba Dal President Sharif Uddin Jewel; Member Secretary Sazzatul Miraj; Chhatro Dal General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir; Gulshan Thana BNP Member Secretary Md. Shahjahan; and leaders and activists from Gulshan Thana BNP and its associated organizations.
