British High Commissioner meets Tarique Rahman

DHAKA, Jan 17, 2026 (BSS)- British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cooke today met BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman at his latter's office in the capital. 

The meeting took place at 5:55pm at the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman's Political Office in the city's Gulshan area, Shayrul Kabir Khan, member of BNP Media Cell, confirmed. 

During the meeting, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, its Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Joint Secretary General (International Affairs) and BNP Chairman's Foreign Affairs Advisory Council Member Humayun Kabir were present.
