JU 'YES Group' gets new team leaders

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Jan 27, 2026 (BSS) - Youth Engagement and Support (YES) Group, an associate organization of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), has formed a new committee for its Jahangirnagar University chapter. 

The election was held today at the monthly general meeting at the Zahir Raihan Auditorium of the university.

Sadika Afrin, a student of Public Administration department (50th Batch), was elected team leader. Md Faruk Hosen of English Department (51st Batch) and Sharmin Jahan of Public Administration Department (51st Batch) were elected deputy team leaders.

The election process was conducted by Tamanna Aziz Tuli, Assistant Professor of Law and Justice Department and assistant advisor of the JU YES Group, along with Md Atikur Rahman, Coordinator of the Civic Engagement Division at TIB.

Advisor of JU YES Group Prof Mohammad Sajedur Rahman of the Government and Politics department was also present at the meeting.
