JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Feb 5, 2026 (BSS) - Jahangirnagar University (JU) authorities today announced the suspension of all classes and examinations on 
February 9 and 10 to facilitate voting in the 13th National Parliamentary Election and Referendum-2026 scheduled for February 12.

The decision was taken following applications from the Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (JUCSU) and general students, and was 
issued under the directive of the university authorities, according to a notification signed by acting Registrar A B M Azizur Rahman.

The authorities also sought cooperation from all concerned to ensure the smooth implementation of the decision.
