KHULNA, Feb 10, 2026 (BSS) - Seven students from seven disciplines under the Life Science School of Khulna University (KU) on Monday received the Dean's Award in recognition of their academic excellence.

The awards were presented at a ceremony held at the university's Liaquat Ali Auditorium, where the recipients were given crests and certificates.

The awardees from the 2020 batch are Ishrat Jahan Ishita (Agrotechnology), Md Ashiq Mostafa (Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering), Abdullah Bin Firoz (Environmental Science), Nusrat Jahan (Fisheries and Marine Resource Technology), Aqsa Eva Dorthi (Forestry and Wood Technology), Md Mohaiminul Islam (Pharmacy) and Saria Afrin (Soil, Water and Environment).

Vice-Chancellor of KU Professor Dr Md Rezaul Karim addressed the programme as chief guest, while Dean of the Life Science School Professor Dr Md Golam Hossain presided over the ceremony.
