KHULNA, Feb 10, 2026 (BSS) - The English Discipline clinched the Inter-
Discipline Cricket Tournament-2026 title at Khulna University (KU) defeating 
the Chemistry Discipline by 15 runs in the final held at the university's 
central playground on Tuesday.

Batting first, English scored 108 for eight in 20 overs while Chemistry 
replied with 93 for eight. Tanvir Hossain was named Man of the Final while 
Mehedi Masud earned Man of the Tournament and highest run-scorer awards. 

Md Ashikur Rahman of Physics became the highest wicket-taker with 11 wickets.

Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Rezaul Karim attended the prize-giving 
ceremony and praised the role of sports in promoting harmony on the campus.
