BGB conducts special robust patrols in capital ahead of  polls

DHAKA, Feb 11, 2026 (BSS) - The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has launched special robust patrolling operations in different parts of the capital to maintain law and order ahead of the upcoming 13th national election.

According to a press release of the force, the patrols were conducted in key strategic and sensitive areas of Dhaka to ensure public safety and prevent any untoward incidents.

The special patrol initiative reflects the government’s commitment to maintaining a peaceful and secure environment in the capital during the election period. 

Authorities have stated that such security measures will continue to ensure voter confidence and public safety throughout the electoral process.
