DHAKA, Feb 14, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will visit the residences of his electoral rivals, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and NCP Convener Nahid Islam.

Tarique Rahman will first visit the residence of the Jamaat Ameer at 7:00 pm tomorrow. Subsequently, he will visit the residence of Nahid Islam at 8:00 pm, BNP Chairman's press wing member Shamsuddin Dider told BSS.

The visits are intended as post-election courtesy calls following the 13th national parliamentary election.

Earlier today, during a press conference at a city hotel, Tarique Rahman called upon all political forces to remain united. He also sent a message of inclusivity, stating his intention to govern the country alongside other political parties to build a fascist-free, democratic Bangladesh.

"In the heat of the election, misunderstandings may have arisen while competing against one another. However, I urge everyone to remain vigilant so that such disputes do not transform into revenge or political vengeance," the BNP Chairman said.
