ICT to hear charge framing against Qamrul, Menon on March 2

DHAKA, Feb 19, 2026 (BSS) - The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 today fixed March 2 to hear charge framing in a case filed against former ministers Rashed Khan Menon and Advocate Qamrul Islam over alleged crimes against humanity during the July Mass Uprising.
 
The two-member tribunal, headed by Justice Golam Martuza Mazumder, passed the order this morning.
 
The prosecution filed the formal charge on February 3, 2026, which was later taken into cognisance by the tribunal.
