DHAKA, Mar 2, 2026 (BSS) – The government has appointed S A M Mahfuzur Rahman as speechwriter of the Prime Minister on contractual basis (Grade-1 of the government pay scale).
The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a gazette notification to this end today signed by deputy secretary Md Golam Rabbani.
The notification mentioned that S A M Mahfuzur Rahman will remain in office for the duration of the Prime Minister’s term or subject to his satisfaction from the date of their joining on condition of relinquishing relations with other institutions and organizations.
It said that other terms and conditions of the appointment will be determined by the contract agreement.
The orders, issued in the sake of public interest, will come into immediate effect.
