DHAKA, Sept 5, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz has left the country today to join Guyana Amazon Warriors for the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Miraz confirmed his departure in a post on his official Face book page after boarding his flight.

“Off to the CPL for a new challenge. Ready to embrace the Caribbean Journey with Guyana Caribbean Warriors,” he wrote in his verified Face book post.

Guyana Amazon Warriors brought Miraz into their squad as a replacement for Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi midway through the tournament.

Miraz was previously picked by Trinbago Knight Riders in 2017 but did not feature in a match during that stint.

He will join a squad featuring several established international cricketers like Imran Tahir, Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Glenn Phillips and Romario Shepherd.
