DHAKA, March 5, 2026 (BSS) – Visiting US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Paul Kapur today paid rich tribute at the graves of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
He offered floral tributes and observed a moment of silence at the gravesites.
In the afternoon, Paul Kapur is scheduled to hold discussions with the Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir at the Secretariat.
Later, he will attend an iftar program organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Paul Kapur is scheduled to leave Dhaka tonight.
