CHATTOGRAM, March 5, 2026 (BSS) - Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Doha airports remain closed due to the ongoing war situation in the Middle East. As a result, four more international flights have been canceled at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram.

According to airport sources, two flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from the Middle East were scheduled to arrive on Thursday morning but have been canceled. Additionally, two flights of Air Arabia from the Middle East have also been canceled.

A Salam Air flight from Muscat was diverted to Dhaka due to fog and later landed at Shah Amanat International Airport at 10:55 am. The same aircraft is scheduled to depart from Chattogram with passengers for Muscat.

The ongoing war situation in the Middle East has impacted international flight operations since February 28, resulting in a total of 50 canceled international flights from Shah Amanat International Airport, including the latest four.
