DHAKA, March 8, 2026 (BSS) – The Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut has advised Bangladeshi nationals to leave several areas in Lebanon and move to safer locations following the outbreak of hostilities in parts of the country.

In a special advisory issued on Sunday, the embassy urged Bangladeshis residing in Beirut’s southern suburbs, including Dahiyeh, Burj al-Barajneh and Hadath, to immediately relocate to secure areas and remain vigilant amid the deteriorating security situation.

The embassy said the advisory was issued in view of the ongoing military operations launched by Israeli forces in southern Beirut, which have heightened tensions and raised security concerns in the surrounding areas.
Bangladeshi citizens living in the affected areas were asked to take precautionary measures and seek shelter in safer places to ensure their safety.

Local residents have also been moving to safer locations as the situation continues to evolve in parts of the Lebanese capital.
