NETROKONA, March 23, 2026 (BSS) - Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Barrister Kayser Kamal today joined voluntary blood donors’ reunion and discussion under the arrangement of Kalmakanda Youth Blood Donation Foundation at the Upazila Parishad hall room.

Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the vital role of volunteers in societal development and urged them to become more actively involved in humanitarian activities.

The deputy speaker said noble initiatives like blood donation are making remarkable contributions to saving the lives of critically ill patients. 

He advised the younger generation to be inspired by the spirit of sacrifice and come forward to serve humanity.

Acting Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mahmudul Hasan, retired senior teacher Farid Jambil, Ameer of Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami  Maulana Abul Hashem, Vice-President of Kalmakanda Press Club Muhammad Enamul Haque Talukdar, and Upazila NCP Coordinator Abu Kawser also spoke at the event.

Kalmakanda Youth Blood Donation Foundation leader Sohel Rana chaired the event.
