DHAKA, March 24, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 9am today.
 
In a weather bulletin, Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

Yesterday's maximum temperature was recorded 32.8 degrees Celsius at Bandarban and Jashore in Chattogram and Khulna divisions, respectively, while today's minimum temperature is 17.2 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur division.

Today's sunset is at 6.11 pm and tomorrow's sunrise is at 5.58 am in the capital.
