'B' unit cluster admission held in Rangpur

RANGPUR, April 3, 2026 (BSS) - The admission test for the first year 'B' unit (Humanities) of the 2025-2026 sessions was held simultaneously in Rangpur like across the country today, in a cluster system of 20 public universities. 
 
A total of 19,440 admission seekers from all over Rangpur region participated in the admission test at eight centers in Rangpur metropolis from 11 am to 12 noon.

This information was disclosed through a press release this afternoon. 
 
Of them, 3,086 candidates appeared at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR), 3,770 at Rangpur Carmichael College , 1,282 at Rangpur Government College, 1,298 at Government Begum Rokeya College, 4,054 at Cantonment Public School and College, 1,451 at The Millennium Stars School and College, 3,656 at Police Lines School and College and 843 at Carmichael Collegiate School and College centres in the city. 
 
"The total attendance rate at the eight examination centres in Rangpur was 86.52 percent," the release added.
