RANGPUR, April 10, 2026 (BSS) - The admission test for the first year degree (honors) 'A' unit (Science) of the 2025-2026 sessions was held at 12 centers in Rangpur like across the country today, in a GST cluster system of 20 public universities.
According to official sources at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) and other 11 examination centers, a total of 23,581 admission seekers from all over Rangpur region participated in the admission test at 12 centers in Rangpur city from 11 am to 12 noon.
The center-wise break-up of the admission seekers stands as: 2,866 candidates participated in the admission test at BRUR, 4,120 at Carmichael College center, 1,259 at Rangpur Government College, 1,225 at Government Begum Rokeya College, 3,914 art Rangpur Cantonment Public School and College, 1,421 at The Millennium Stars School and College, 3,527 at Rangpur Police Lines School and College, 820 at Carmichael Collegiate School and College, 810 at Government Teachers Training College, 1,679 at Collectorate School and College, 684 at Lions School and College center and 1,256 candidates at Samaj Kalyan Bidyabithi Girls School and College in Rangpur city.
The total attendance rate at the eight examination centres in Rangpur was 83.07 percent.
The admission test for the students of Rangpur region was conducted in a very festive and peaceful atmosphere at all 12 centers in Rangpur city.
Taking the admission test in the cluster system has saved the students' time and money as well as reduced the suffering of traveling to different parts of the country.
In addition, the Architecture Practical (Drawing) examination was held at BRUR center with participation of 174 examinees in the examination from 3 pm to 4 pm.
