DHAKA, April 22, 2026 (BSS) – During a meeting at DU on Wednesday, British Council Country Director Stephen Forbes met with the Treasurer of the DU Prof Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, at his office in the campus.

At the meeting they discussed the possibilities of strengthening ongoing joint collaborative academic programs between DU and the British Council through dialogue.

Stephen Forbes was accompanied by Mr. Toufiq Hasan, Head of Education of British Council; Noor Rasel, Head of Operations and Security; and Farhadul Azim, Facilities Operations Manager.

They also discussed arranging training programs for university teachers and students under the joint initiative of the DU and the British Council.
