India's Assistant High Commissioner pays courtesy call on RUET VC

RAJSHAHI, April 28, 2026 (BSS)- Manoj Kumar, Assistant High Commissioner of 
India to Bangladesh at Rajshahi, paid a courtesy call on Professor Dr. S M 
Abdur Razzak, Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University of Engineering and 
Technology (RUET).

When Manoj Kumar arrived at the Vice-Chancellor's office this afternoon, 
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. S M Abdur Razzak presented him with an honorary 
crest. 

The deans of all faculties of RUET, along with the directors of the ICT and 
Student Welfare offices, were present at the time.
 
During the discussion, the Vice-Chancellor briefed the Assistant High 
Commissioner on RUET's academic and research activities and emphasized the 
importance of mutual cooperation between the two countries in engineering 
education and research.

The Assistant High Commissioner highlighted the education and research 
activities of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) and praised 
Bangladesh's engineering education system. 

He stated that there is no alternative to mutual cooperation for improving 
the quality of education and research.
 
Earlier, Manoj Kumar visited RUET and toured its campus.
