DHAKA, July 3, 2026 (BSS) - The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) today reported 139 confirmed measles cases and 968 suspected measles cases across the country during the last 24-hour period from 8 am Thursday.

According to DGHS data, a total of 87,262 suspected measles patients have been admitted to hospitals since March 15 and of them, 83,543 patients have so far recovered and they have been discharged from hospitals.

During the past 24 hours, no death from confirmed measles was reported, while five deaths from suspected measles were recorded.

Since March 15, the total number of deaths from suspected measles has reached 636 while the number of deaths from confirmed measles has stood at 93.
