CHITTAGONG UNIVERSITY, 09 July, 2026 (BSS) - Chittagong University (CU) authorities have suspended all classes and examinations for today as well, marking the second consecutive day of suspension due to adverse weather conditions.

Acting Registrar Prof. Dr. Mohammed Saiful Islam confirmed the decision this morning.

"As there has been no significant improvement in the weather situation and the prevailing waterlogging and transport crisis continue, the suspension of all classes and scheduled examinations at CU will remain in effect today as well," he said.

Earlier on Wednesday, the university authorities had suspended all classes and examinations for the day owing to heavy rainfall.
