RAJSHAHI, July 14, 2026 (BSS) - The Porijon Foundation is awarding scholarships to 122 underprivileged but meritorious students of Rajshahi University (RU).
 
Today, Porijon Foundation's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Arif Chowdhury, a US-based engineer, shared this information while discussing the scholarship program with Vice-Chancellor Professor Faridul Islam. 

He stated that this scholarship initiative will continue in the future as well.
 
Also present at the discussion were Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Abdul Alim, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) Professor Mamunur Rashid and Student Adviser Professor A H M Khurshid Alam, among others.
 
The Vice-Chancellor thanked the Porijon Foundation authorities for providing the Porijon Scholarship to RU students. He presented a souvenir of appreciation to the foundation's CEO.
 
Notably, the Porijon Foundation regularly provides scholarships to underprivileged yet meritorious RU students.
