KHULNA, July 14, 2026 (BSS) - Khulna Agricultural University (KAU) on Tuesday 
celebrated its 11th founding anniversary through a series of programmes, 
marking its entry into the 12th year of academic journey.

Established on July 14, 2015, the university observed the day with hoisting 
of the national and university flags, voluntary blood donation programme, 
inter-faculty debate competition, inter-team English language proficiency 
contest, discussion meeting, cake-cutting ceremony and prize distribution.

Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Md. Nazmul Ahsan attended the discussion 
as the chief guest while Treasurer Prof. Dr. Shamim Ahmed Kamal Uddin Khan, 
Acting Registrar Md. Rezaul Islam, teachers, students, officers and employees 
of the university were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, the VC said the university has already established 
its credibility in higher education and agricultural research. 

He expressed optimism that the institution is progressing towards becoming a 
full-fledged university encompassing diverse branches of knowledge and that 
its graduates will make significant contributions to building a prosperous 
Bangladesh.
