DHAKA, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) - The admission test for the first-year undergraduate program of the Science Unit at Dhaka University (DU) for the 2025-2026 academic session has been postponed.

A DU press release, issued by Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Acting Director of the university’s Public Relations Office, said it, adding that a day of national mourning will be observed at DU on Saturday to honor the late Sharif Osman Hadi, a former student of the university.

As a mark of respect to the courageous July fighter Osman Hadi and all July fighters and martyrs who took part in the mass uprising, the admission test for the first-year undergraduate program of the Science Unit for the 2025-2026 session, scheduled on Saturday, has been postponed, it added.

The revised schedule of the tests will be announced soon.
