BFIU seeks financial information of Hasina, her family members

DHAKA, Jan 7, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has issued directives to all the country's banks and financial institutions to send the information and transaction details of ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members.
 
The BFIU has sought financial information of Sheikh Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana, son Sajeeb Wazed Joy and daughter Saima Wazed Putul, a BFIU senior official told BSS seeking anonymity.
 
The intelligence agency also asked for financial information of Rehana's daughters - Tulip Siddiq and Azmina Siddiq and her son Radwan Mujib Siddiq Bobby and their business enterprises.
