DHAKA, April 23, 2025 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Mahfuj Alam today said the government has undertaken a range of initiatives to strengthen the capacity of the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC).

The adviser made the remarks while addressing a focus group discussion organised by BFDC at the meeting room of the ministry.

Referring to the country's large film market, he said that the potential of the film industry must be utilised. For this, people related to the film industry, including BFDC, must work, he added.

In addition to the infrastructural development of BFDC, Mahfuj Alam said work should also be done to improve the skills of the officers and employees. The government will provide all-out cooperation in this regard, he said.
