DHAKA, Feb 27, 2025 (BSS) – The joint forces arrested 743 more suspects linked to destabilize the country under the nationwide ‘Operation Devil Hunt’ in the last 24 hours till noon today, a police headquarters statement said.  

With the latest figure, a total of 11,613 suspects were taken into custody since the crackdown begun on February 8 last following a terror attack on the student-people in Gazipur district.   

On the 20th day of the crackdown, a total of 1657 persons were apprehended. Of them, 743 were netted under the ‘Operation Devil Hunt’ and 914 others for previous cases and warrants.       

During the operation, the forces seized one shutter gun, one cartridge and sharp machetes during the operation.
