1534 more crime suspects arrested in nationwide drive

DHAKA, April 20, 2025 (BSS) - In a nationwide drive, 1,534 crime suspects 
were arrested in the last 24 hours. 

Of the arrestees, 933 were wanted in previous cases and warrants while 601 
others for other criminal charges, said a press release of the Police 
Headquarters. 

During the drive, one single barrel gun, one bullet, six rounds of empty 
cartridges were seized. 

With their arrest, a total of 3,135 individuals were arrested from different 
parts of the country for various crime charges in the last 48 hours.
