DHAKA, Feb 28, 2025 (BSS) – A devastating fire that broke out at a kitchen market adjacent to Shewrapara Metrorail Station in the capital this afternoon, was brought under control.
To control the fire, eight units from Mirpur and Agargaon Fire Service quickly reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire, an ISPR press release said today.
A unit under Bangladesh Army's Independent ADA Brigade six from Mirpur Army Camp and local police reached the spot and provided assistance to the firefighters in controlling the excited crowd and dousing the blaze, the release added.
