3 teen gang members held in Motijheel

DHAKA, March 1, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested three members of a teen gang from the capital's Motijheel with homemade weapons.

The arrestees were identified as Md. Khorshed and Tanjil Hossain, while the name of another was not known immediately, said a media release of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) today.

Police said they were arrested after conducting a raid in the AGB Colony area under Motijheel police station at 5:50pm on Friday.

They said a group of people suddenly entered the grounds of Motijheel Government Boys High School in AGB Colony with homemade weapons and tried to create panic.

A team of Motijheel Police Station quickly rushed the scene after receiving the news and arrested the trio.
 
A case was filed against them in this connection at Motijheel Police Station. 

They have been produced before the court.
