Traffic rule violations: 1,367 cases filed

DHAKA, March 3, 2025 (BSS) - The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 1,367 cases against motor vehicles across the capital for violating traffic rules.

The DMP has filed those cases and realized the money yesterday (March 2) through their regular drives against the traffic rule breakers, a DMP press release said here today.

A total of 120 vehicles were impounded and 22 others towed during the campaign, said Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) of the DMP.

"The drives will continue to ensure discipline on the city streets," the release added.
