KHULNA, March 4, 2025 (BSS) - A joint operation by the Coast Guard, Navy, and Police led to the arrest of two alleged terrorists in Rupsha upazila, Khulna, early today.

According to a press release from the Coast Guard, the arrested individuals were identified as Shafiullah, 42, and Osikar Khan, 38, both residents of Rupsha upazila. Osikar was previously accused in a terrorism-related case at Rupsha Police Station.

During the raid in Alipur around 2:00 am, law enforcement officers seized a homemade double-barrel gun (Donala Gun) and two rounds of cartridges from the suspects' possession.

Legal proceedings are underway to hand over the arrestees to Rupsha Police Station, the press release added.
