5 snatchers held in Savar

SAVAR, March 4, 2025 (BSS) - Police in a drive arrested five alleged snatchers from the different places of Savar upazila today.

On a tip-off, a joint team of DB police led by Dhaka North Officer-in-Charge Md. Jalal Uddin, conducted a drive at Savar bus stand, Hemayetpur bus stand and Bank town area under Savar Model Police Station and arrested them.

The arrested snatchers are Ibrahim, 25, Sohanur Rahman, 28, Raju, 20, Aslam, 28, and Liton, 21.

During the initial interrogation, they confessed their connection with snatching and robbery. Legal action against them is ongoing, said DB police.
